If the audio seems to have too much _static_ or seems more monotone, it is due to something that we have noticed with moving our MiniDV tapes overseas, something to do with the security scanners at the airports. They sound fine when shot in Portugal with the same camera, but lose audio quality once back in the US. This is a frustrating situation that may make us discontinue shooting in Portugal.
